Fertility Solutions 10 Year Anniversary – Press Release April 3, 2017

2017 marks the 10 year anniversary of Fertility Solutions Sunshine Coast. A decade ago founders Denies Donati, Dr’s James Orford and George Bogiatzis opened the clinic doors and have since provided 100’s of Sunshine Coast families with the chance of having a baby. 

“Looking back on where we started and where we are today, is humbling.  We are so privileged to have had shared so many journeys and witness so many little miracles” say Denise Donati, Clinic and Nurse Manager.

The clinic first started in Nambour in 2007 and in 2011 outgrew these premises moving to the current location in the grounds of the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital, Buderim.  Over the 10 years, the clinic has adapted to patient demand offering new and innovated services always with the focus of providing affordable options to all patients based on their needs and best practice.  Today Fertility Solutions is the only clinic on the Sunshine Coast to offer all types of treatments, from bulk billed to fully customized at the one clinic. 

Doctor George Bogiatzis said, IVF advances and research have significantly improved in the past 10 years and patients today have a much better chance of a pregnancy. 

Dr James Orford remarks that now more than ever, patients are needing and accessing fertility treatment. “Patients are delaying starting a family for a variety of reasons however the single most important fact to remember is that female  AGE predominantly determines success  when it comes to fertility treatment” comments Dr Orford. “Fertility treatment is more common than the public might think, with 1 in 6 couples needing some assistance to conceive” adds Dr Orford

Fertility Solutions will mark the 10 Year Anniversary by celebrating with past and current patients. Fertility Solutions invites all patients and their little miracles to join them at the Teddy Bear Picnic being held on 21^st May in conjunction with The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital.  “We encourage all our extended family to come along and join us at this fun day and to be part of our 10 Year Anniversary photo which will take place at 10.30am” comments Denise Donati.

Additionally, the team of doctors, nurses, scientists and support staff will be holding a public information morning on the 20^th May at Buderim where there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and tour the IVF clinic including the laboratory.

Dr Bogiatzis commented “Providing couples with information regarding their fertility choices empowers them.  We hope to both celebrate our 10 years at this event whilst also helping the Sunshine Coast public to become more aware of infertility related topics and their options”.   

Speakers for the day will include the Fertility Specialists, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a fertility counsellor and a patient who will share their fertility journey and experiences.  In conjunction with this information morning Fertility Solutions are also offering patients an information session with world renowned expert on Donor sperm, eggs and embryos, Mr Stephen Page. 

“This event is a great opportunity for individuals or couples to come along and have  access to doctors with a range of interests from endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, repeated miscarriages and male infertility all at one event.” comments Dr Bogiatzis.
