Our boutique satellite clinic is located in Bundaberg with the main clinic located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast where we strive to provide our patients and staff with personal, professional care and support. We are committed to supporting our patients on their fertility journey giving them the greatest possible chance of becoming pregnant and having a healthy baby.

The Role:
The clinic is seeking to appoint an experienced part-time or full-time (negotiable for the right candidate) Embryologist/IVF Scientist to work as part of our Bundaberg team. You will be responsible for:

• Performing all aspects of routine Assisted Reproductive Technologies in a clinical setting
• Professionally and empathically liaising with patients and effectively communicating with colleagues, doctors and external parties to ensure superior patient care
• Participating in on-going education, with attendance to staff meetings, journal club and relevant conferences
• Assisting with the promotional activities of the clinic

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:

• A degree in a life sciences field from a recognised tertiary institution
• A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Fully trained including ICSI, embryo biopsy (ideal but not necessary), vitrification, with an understanding of accreditation and regulatory requirements
• You must be self-motivated and proactive with a high attention to detail and exceptional work ethic
• You are committed to achieving excellence in your care and service delivery
• You have outstanding communication skills and committed to providing the patient with the very best care
• You enjoy working as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team
• You are flexible and able to work a rotating weekend roster, provide public holiday cover and leave coverage to our Regional clinic as needed
• You are eligible to work in Australia and possess a current driver’s license with no restrictions
