Do you have travel plans? – COVID-19 Hot Spots

Due to the announcement on the 29th of July 2020 from the Queensland State Government, pertaining to the additional declared COVID-19 hotspots and associated travel entry bands and quarantine requirements, we are now in a position to understand all patients and their partners travel plans prior and during fertility treatment.

Please contact your treating specialist if you have questions regarding any intrastate (within QLD), interstate and overseas travel, as your treatment maybe effected.

Additionally, please refer to the government website for updates on COVID-19 Hotspots.

At Fertility Solutions our primary concern is, and always will be, the health and safety of our patients and our team during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Please be aware of the the following advice:
*All patients must notify the clinic of any travel plans overseas, interstate and intrastate.

*All patients and partners who have recently returned from any overseas travels, or had contact with someone who has positively tested for COVID-19, should not book to commence a treatment cycle until you have been in self-quarantine for 14 days after last contact, or after returning from travel.

*Any patient or their partner who has recently returned from any interstate travel must notify the clinic by phone and are asked not to present to the clinic for any appointments.

*Any patient or their partner with respiratory or viral symptoms must contact the clinic by phone and are asked not to present to the clinic for any appointments.

*All patients and partners are reminded of the basic personal hygiene requirements such as cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze, and dispose of tissues into appropriate receptacles.

*Frequent use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, or hand washing and social distancing will also help reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading.

Our clinic COVID-19 policy may change from time to time and and is intended to protect you, our staff and the broader community from the transmission of COVID-19. We thank you for your co-operation and understanding as we implement and change as required to minimise risk overall.
