August 26: Fertility Health Checks Learn More

Sunshine Coast Perinatal Centre Workshop

Come to our Sunshine Coast Perinatal Workshop for helpful information and tips on becoming a new parent

The Sunshine Coast Perinatal Centre “Becoming Parents” Workshop is a half-day session full of useful information and tips to prepare you for becoming a parent. If you’ve begun your fertility journey and are expecting it may be a great time to learn more about what lies ahead. The session is held by the caring, qualified presenters in Maroochydore.

Fertility Solutions Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg have helped so many patients become parents. The process of fertility treatment, such as IUI or IVF are our specialty. In addition, we take pride in offering our patients emotional support as they move into parenthood.

Why attend a Perinatal Workshop?

Becoming a parent is one of the biggest transitions you will experience in your lifetime.  The fertility journey can be full of emotion and changes.  However, babies don’t come with manuals! Sometimes, new parents can feel overwhelmed and experience a sense of being ‘out of control’ when a wonderful little person comes into their lives. In addition, other factors such as your level of support, or moving house or jobs may play a part in how you cope with such a big life change. Likewise, managing your other children and your own expectations also play a role.

The workshop will cover topics such as Self-Care, Emotional Wellbeing,  Parenting and Relationships.

The Perinatal Clinic offers support and counseling to new mums and their families. An intensely emotional and physical transformation happens during pregnancy and the first year of a baby’s life. However, this can sometimes lead to concerns, depression and/or anxiety. The Perinatal Clinic offers group programs and activities on adolescent and child behaviour, as well as individual therapy sessions for new mums and parents-to-be.
